Campbell County School District is proud to be a G Suite for Education District! G Suite for Education is a suite of tools that allows for increased opportunities for critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity, while supporting our District's learning objectives.
Student Google Apps accounts
To ensure equal access for all students and comply with online safety laws protecting children 13 and under, the District will provide Google Apps accounts to all students in grades 3‐12. Students in grades K-2 are given a classroom teacher account, if requested by their current classroom teacher. Student email access begins in seventh grade. All G Suite for Education accounts are owned by Campbell County School District and will be provided for students and staff while enrolled/employed by Campbell County School District. Once leaving the district, staff and students will no longer have access to these accounts.
Acceptable Use Policy
The building technology facilitator at your child’s school, as well as classroom teachers, will instruct students on how to access their account, share and collaborate on files, and how accounts should be used in compliance with our 6150 R Technology Acceptable Use & 6150 Technology: Security, Sharing of Resources, Technology Acceptable Use. Parents are also encouraged to talk with children about online manners and safety. For tips and resources , please visit our District Digital Citizenship page (coming soon!).
