The Band Camp Email 2015

Only a few more days till we officially begin our 2015 summer band camps!

A few additions have been added to the calendar, none of which affect our rehearsal schedule.

The most notable is our leadership dinner Monday the 20^th at 6pm. The plan is to eat at Buenovista again.

Several forms will be sent home on the 20^th, All must be turned in on the Thursday of full camps.

Due to my class being cancelled in the Fall, Our evening practice from 6-8pm will be moved back to Thursday during school weeks! Monday & Tuesday till 5pm and Thursday 6-8pm.

July 20-24th Mini Camp

8-Noon- Winds

8-2pm -Drum Line & Auxiliary

Band Pictures July 24^th at 8:30am: Full Uniform

July 27^th- 31^st FULL Band Camp

8:00 – Noon & 1 – 4:00pm Full Band camp for everyone.

Family Performance 5:30 July 31^st

Pool Party July 31^st 8-10pm CAWC

Lunches are $3 a day, please plan on prepaying for the week on Monday

Tuesday & Thursday August 4 & 6^th

Full Band Rehearsal 6-8pm

Things to bring for camp:

· Sunscreen

· Tennis shoes- absolutely no sandals of any kind

· Appropriate apparel- NO JEANS (Its summer in Alabama)

· Water bottle

· Sunglasses

· Sunscreen

Please do everything possible to take care of your self during this physically demanding week. We will be outside for the majority of the week.

Remember that a positive attitude and willingness to work hard is mandatory for a successful and enjoyable week for everyone.
