Application

Students who are interested in pursuing study in the IB Diploma Program at Carrollton High School should talk to their teachers and counselors about their plans.  Students and parents are also encouraged to contact The IB Coordinator, Mr. Noah Brewer, to arrange a time to meet and discuss the program. 

The Carrollton High School International Baccalaureate Program is currently accepting applications from current Freshmen and Sophomores who plan to begin the program during their Junior year of high school.

The evaluation criteria for the IB Diploma program include:

• • A completed application

  • A completed parent intent and commitment form (delivered via email to your parent upon submission of your application)

  • Teacher evaluations from two (2) core subject-area teachers (delivered via email to your teachers upon submission of your application)

  • A review of student attendance and discipline 

  • A review of academic performance

  • A writing sample may be requested

  • An interview with the IB Coordinator may be required for students at the request of the IB acceptance committee
