I have been cooking ever since I can remember. I especially love to make Italian food and cookies. So, I read the book Everyday Italian by Giada for my book report book. The philosophy behind this book is that cooking does not have to be difficult and time consuming. Giada writes this book expecting the reader to use the recipes every day, not just for special occasions (hence the name Everyday Italian). If I had to give this book a grade, I would give it an A- because the recipes are easy to follow, delicious and the book is well organized.

Paragraph 1:
One of my favorite books of all time is The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. This book is about a group of friends: Ponyboy, Johnny, Darry, Dallas, Two-Bit and Sodapop who live on the wrong side of the tracks and are known as Greasers. They have run-ins with the rich kids called the Socs. The book follows Ponyboy and Johnny as they meet two girls at a drive-in to their tragic run-in with the Socs, and then their rescue of kids from a burning building which also has tragic results. After reading this book, I would give it an “A+” because the characters are well developed, the book teaches important life lessons and it is filled with action.
