Book Report for Award Winning Book
Wow! You have finished yet another book. You are amazing! Here are the requirements for your award winning book report. For this book report, you will be creating a timeline and of course, writing an essay.
You must do this drawing assignment:
1. Create a timeline of major events in the story (at least 10). Be sure and number them. You should include a picture of a scene from the book (not a symbol) and a 3 sentence summary for each event. This should of course be colored and include no X-rated pictures!
Choose one of the following two writing options:
2. Compare yourself to a character in your book. In the first paragraph, compare your personalities and your likes and dislikes. Be sure and use examples. In the second paragraph, describe what your character did in a certain situation in the book. Then explain: Would you have done the same thing? Why or why not? In the third paragraph, explain why you do or do not like the character (at least 1½ pages long).
3. Continue the story. Now that you have finished the book, write a new ending. First, write a two sentence summary explaining how the book ended. Then add at least one more page to the book, using the writer’s style. Use dialogue, if possible. Alternative: If you do not like the ending REWRITE THE ENDING the way you would want it to come out. (1½ pages long).
