Robotics

In this course, students will use robotics to explore the fundamentals of engineering, electronics, and programming. Students will be challenged to design, build, and program robots that move using motors and sensors while applying mathematics, science, and technology concepts. The curriculum is designed to help students develop creative-thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills required for success in the 21st-century.

Projects may include:

• Building a basic robot using the LEGO EV3 education kit
• Making the robot move using basic commands
• Programming using loops, switches, and multitasking
• Programming using sensors
• Battle-bots and Art-bots
• Design and programming challenges
