Reading

We are using Open Court reading program. We will cover a story about every 7 or 8 class days. We will usually do vocabulary words in a Google classroom assignment. Students will write a definition and sentence for each word or possibly just a sentence, depending on their group. They will also do a story packet. There may also be some kind of comprehension assignment such as creating a timeline to retell the story. Students will take their test completely on line. The test will be on my reading calendar on the Sunday prior. I will also give students a password that will allow them to go on the text's website which will allow them to take the test.
