Math

We use HMH curriculum. The students will have homework everyday. It will be one sheet (back and front). I usually give between 5 to 10 minutes in class to start it. I will check with them the following day to see if they finished it. If it is missing and they were here the day it was assigned, it is a missing assignment and they have one day to turn it in for half credit. If they were absent, they have three days to turn it in.  All the homework is worth 5 points each. I randomly put two or three days homework in the grade book a week.  On Fridays we review the week's work and sometimes work in small group for those who need it. The idea is they will finish in class and not have any homework on the weekends. Our goal is to get to 20 modules by the end of the year. Test are worth usually 40 points and I will put them on the calendar the prior Monday.
