To make my exemplars I used some of the pre-existing storyboards, added text from various history websites, as needed, for middle school students and used public domain images for the cover art. I used the same content for each of my simple examples so students could visualize how their story could be presented in multiple ways. We also talked about using cover art, end pages and a dedication page to make their digital book's layout appear like a traditional book.
