Tonal Energy - visual tuner with digital "oscilloscope," tone generator, and utilitarian metronome (this is the smiley face app I use in class)

Tempo by Frozen Ape - great metronome with lots of features

iReal Pro - great for practicing improvisation.  This is what I use to create the backgrounds for our jazz tunes
