About Us
Dave Wood and Mike Ross are sponsors of the Centaurus Outdoor Warriors. Craig Weinhold, Owen Lunz, and many other teachers also volunteer instructors for the OAC.
Dr. Ross has been a local fly fishing guide since you were about knee high and has fished all over Colorado and Wyoming for since 2002. He loves to share his passion for fly fishing and all things outdoors with his students and help them connect outdoor education with mathematics and science.
Mr. Wood is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys snowboarding, ice climbing, kite surfing/skiing, fly fishing and loves to learn all things outdoors. We're excited to add his deep knowledge and enthusiasm to the team.
Mr. Weinhold has been climbing as long as he can remember and loves to share his passion for rock and ice with his students. In addition to climbing, Mr. Weinhold also loves backpacking and fly fishing.
Mr. Lunz, veteran math teacher, is also an expert climber, fly fisher, and skier. Check out this grassie landed somewhere in Boulder County!
