A little bit about me...

I have been teaching Science for 12 years at Centaurus. Go Warriors! I have 2 children, Finn, 10 and Olive, 8. When I am not at school or chasing my children around I spend my time running, biking, and cooking. I also love to travel. I have been lucky enough to travel to exotic places like Thailand, Cambodia, Italy, Portugal, Mexico and Costa Rica. Most recently my family took a trip to the Maine where we picked blueberries, kayaked, and hiked through some amazing forests. I also just got back from a sustainability tour in Europe with 32 amazing Centaurus students.

I have a B.S. in Environmental Science and a Master’s degree in Secondary Science Education from CU Boulder. GO BUFFS! I am also endorsed in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. I am always trying to improve my teaching. I constantly take professional development courses so that I can be the best that I can be. I recently wrapped up a course in assessment for motivation as well as movement in the classroom. Be ready to move when you come to my room!
