For each of the past 14 years, Boulder High School has been recognized as an NASC Gold Council of Excellence. The National Association of Student Councils recognizes middle level and high school student councils that consistently provide quality leadership activities and service to their schools and communities. This award recognizes that Boulder High School has met a minimum of 49 indicators covering the areas of Governance, Service, General Activities and Operations, and Civic Engagement and Student Voice. The Boulder High School Student Council is one of approximately 400 schools in the nation (one of 22 in Colorado) to receive this distinction.
