Japanese 1

Welcome to Japanese 1！ Japanese 1 covers the following: mastering katakana and hiragana and learning ~50 kanji; developing basic communication skills through Units on Self, Family, Everyday Activities, Seasons and Holidays and Free time. Cultural activities usually include preparing and sampling Japanese food (with chopsticks!), anime, origami, film, music, calligraphy and learning about the geography of Japan.
