Center for Education

Letter from the Assistant Superintendent

Dear Burlington Township Families:

Welcome to the Burlington Township School District's webpage for the Center for Education. Our district mission is to develop the intellectual, creative, and social potential of each of our students through an active partnership with all members of the Burlington Township community. Our Vision is one of ALL students achieving their highest potential. To realize this vision, we strive to provide our students, staff, and families access to instructional programs and resources which promote learning and achievement.

Burlington Township Schools provides access to a wide variety of resources to promote success for our learners. We are proud to offer a free full-day kindergarten program for all age-eligible township students. We provide challenging learning opportunities in our core content academic areas to promote achievement for all of our learners. Burlington Township Schools also offers specialized programs and interventions throughout the school year for students who are identified as academically gifted or talented, in need of literacy support, English Language Learners, or eligible for special education services. We provide on-site guidance counseling and support services in all of our schools. We also provide access to an extensive offering of co-curricular and extra-curricular programs which focus upon the visual and performing arts, athletics, community service, academics and various interests which enrich our students' instructional experiences.

We, in the Center for Education, are pleased and honored to serve students and families of Burlington Township. Through Centralized Registration, we meet all families new to our schools and are eager to advise you about our programs and services. We also encourage parents and guardians to become actively involved in your children's education. If you have not already done so, we ask that you register for our electronic newsletter, The Falcon Flyer, to receive important alerts about school events and opportunities to become involved in our schools. We look forward to working with you!

Sincerely,
