Prom Information

Prom will be held on Saturday May 14, 2022 from 8:00pm-11:00pm. It will be located at The Hallelujah Arena Venue in Morganton, NC.

Any Junior or Senior who plans to buy a ticket must pay all library and outstanding school debts before being allowed to purchase a ticket. This includes the $15 Senior class dues that must be paid before the student graduates from Freedom.

Students may not attend prom if they have any outstanding debts, any OSS, more than 3 days/12 periods of ISS, and more than 5 days of absences that have not been made up before the date of prom.

• • • • • • Students who are ineligible to attend the prom may submit an appeal to the administration. Appeals are accepted from March through May 6th prior to the prom. Students will be notified of the appeal decision within two weeks of the appeal’s submission. Freshman, sophomores, and guests are not able to appeal.

A Junior or Senior must make up all time before May 6th in order to attend prom. If you have any outstanding absences that are not made up before then, or if you accrue time after that, you will need to make it up before attending. Please see Mrs. Abee for information.

A Junior or Senior may only bring one guest. If that guest does not attend Freedom High School, then a guest form must be turned in no later than the last ticket sale day.
