Audition Materials for 2023-2024 School Year

The audition for Chamber and Cantique are the same!

Audition Policy:

Auditions will be open for Chamber Choir and Cantique at the end of each school year.  

There are a specific number of spots open each year for soprano, alto, tenor, and bass singers in Chamber Choir.

There are a specific number of spots open each year for soprano and alto singers in Cantique.

This is important because we must maintain a balance of parts in each choir. 

Auditions will not re-open at semester for these two groups unless there are open spots.  In this case, students will be considered for audition if their voice part has an opening. 

Extra-Curricular Groups:

Chanson- extra-curricular choir performing more difficult music for SATB singers from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods. 

Auditions in the fall. Returning members do not need to re-audition.

Azules - extra-curricular jazz and pop choir for SATB singers.  

Non-auditioned; sign-up to participate in the fall.

Treble Choir and Men's Choir are not auditioned. You may join at the beginning of the school year (or at semester if your schedule doesn't allow for the entire year).

 Be prepared to work hard and give your best effort in ANY choir you join at Belgrade. 

If you are new to our school and would like to sing in choir, please come see Mrs. Kirk right away. We'd love to have you join us.
