Belgrade High School Choir Auditions
2026-2027 School Year
The audition for Chamber Choir and Cantique Choir are the same.
**Anyone can audition for Chamber Choir. Cantique Choir is an advanced women's choir.**
Auditions are now open to anyone who will be a student at Belgrade High for the next school year.
Current HS Students: Sign up for an audition time on the choir room door!
Current 8th Grade Students: I will be at the middle school on June 2nd to hear you. Talk to Mr. Beebe about it!
1. You do NOT need to memorize anything - just use the paper.
2. Hand signs for solfege are optional.
3. You will get starting pitches from the piano for #1 and #2. Then you will sing them a cappella.
4. For "Drink to Me Only", you will sing along with the track listed as #4 Audition Track.
You should use Track #3 to learn your part. Track #4 will give your starting pitch and then play the other parts while you sing the part from Track #3 - to see if you can sing independently!

**Auditions will be open for Chamber Choir and Cantique at the end of each school year and are open to all potential high school singers, whether they are currently enrolled in choir or not.

*There are a specific number of spots open each year for
soprano, alto, tenor, and bass singers in Chamber Choir.
*There are a specific number of spots open each year for soprano and alto singers in Cantique.
This is important because we must maintain a balance of parts in each choir.
Auditions will not re-open at semester for these two groups unless there are open spots. In this case, students will be considered for audition if their voice part has an opening.
