All events are coached by volunteers (usually parents, high school or college students)
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED!
Coaches provide a weekly lesson for a small group of kids, at the TIME and PLACE chosen by the coach (usually a room reserved in one of the schools by the Bryant Pattengill head coach)
WESO coaches provide subject matter of the event competition, individual school coaches fill in the lessons with information and activities to help students learn about their event.
Necessary resources for events are provided by WESO. If additional items are needed by coaches to make learning fun, supplies can be reimbursed by Bryant Pattengill Science Olympiad.

ALL COACHES MUST complete AAPS Volunteer and Background Check Form
Note "Science Olympiad" on the top, and return to the Bryant or Pattengill school offices.
If you have already completed the form this school year, you do not need to complete another. Please just let us know.
