All about writing

We are learning how to write our letters by using the Casey Caterpillar programme. Letters have 3 important parts: a name, a sound and a symbol. Once we know how to form our letters and can match them to the sounds they make, we are able to start sounding out words. Words then get put together to make sentences. We know what a sentence is because it begins with a capital letter and ends with a full stop. Try keeping a diary or journal and write a sentence every night.
