All about Reading

Reading is essential for learning, new knowledge and of course enjoyment. In room 10 we are learning to foster a love of books and spending time finding out new things. Please spend some time each day reading items of interest and practising sounding our new words. The children will have a reader (sometimes 2) every night to read with a caregiver... please then complete the reading journal to note this has been done.

On Fridays the children will also have a poem to read and discuss the new vocabulary.
