During the school year, we will have a mini-unit on Greek and Latin roots/prefixes/suffixes. These roots/prefixes/suffixes serve as the foundation of thousands of words in the English language, and learning them is a valuable tool in being able to divine meaning out of new and challenging vocabulary.
