NHS Eligibility:
In late February all Juniors and Seniors with a GPA of 4.0 or above are notified of their eligibility to apply for membership to NHS.
The NHS application includes two components: Candidate Form and Writing Prompts. Complete and submit both of these digitally, naming as instructed. Refer to the Selection Criteria and the Selection Rubric (posted below) to ensure you present a full and complete application.
NHS CANDIDATE FORM (link) - Use this form to document your service, leadership, and extracurricular experiences so that the Faculty Council understands the extent of your involvement and contributions to your school and your community. WRITING PROMPTS (type your own doc) - Respond to both prompts (max. 500-700 words total)
What motivates you to apply for membership in National Honor Society, and how do you envision contributing to our chapter?
National Honor Society is built on four pillars: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. How do you exemplify these pillars in your daily life? Which pillar offers the most opportunity for your personal growth, and how would you work on developing it during your time in NHS?

A Candidate Information Session will be held in early March. Current NHS members will explain the application process and candidates have the opportunity to have their questions answered. If you have any other questions, feel free to email any of the officers or advisor.
