About Mr. Basilone
Matt Basilone comes to Bridging Communities with 18 years of experience as an educator. During this time Mr. Basilone has worked in middle schools, high schools, and community colleges teaching mathematics, engineering, technology, architecture, animations, and computer science. He has coached lacrosse, golf, and esports. He has sponsored technology, yearbook, and robotics clubs.
Mr. Basilone primarily studied mathematics education in his Bachelors and Mathematics programs, but also completed the undergraduate coursework for the secondary technology education program while earning his masters degree. His graduate level mathematics courses required code development using MATLAB. Through his experience as a technology education teacher, Mr. Basilone has developed skills in other coding languages.
