What is the GACE?

The GACE (Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators®) is a test that people in Georgia take if they want to become teachers.

It’s used to make sure future teachers have the basic skills, subject knowledge, and teaching skills needed to work in Georgia schools.

Important Notes about GACE Assessments:

It will take up to 1 month to receive your scores, check score reporting dates HERE.
Your score report will be available in your account at 10:00 p.m. on the score report date!
Your score report will be provided to you, to the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC), to your educator preparation provider (if applicable), and any other score recipients you designated when you registered.
Scores for the GACE® assessments are presented on a scale of 100 to 300. The passing score is either 220 or 250, depending on the assessment. Examinees receiving a scaled score at or above the passing score have demonstrated the level of skill and mastery required by the assessment.

How do I register?

Part 1:

Create MyPSC Account
Receive approval from Brenau University to take exam. (Reach out to your Academic Advisor).
Log into MyPSC account and select "Assessments"
Select the reason why you want to take GACE assessment "College/University Programs"
Select the assessment you are requesting eligibility to test from the dropdown menu and click the "ADD" button.
Confirm your selection by typing "yes" and then click "FINISH" button.
Your profile and eligibilities will be transmitted to Evaluation Systems.
