Team Standards
It is the responsibility of the student to record HOMEWORK in the agenda each day.
Students are to come to class prepared with their agenda, books, pencils, and homework.
All work must be neatly written and checked for grammar, spelling, and writing mistakes.
All math work must be shown in order to receive credit.
In order to receive full credit, student work must be submitted on the due date. This means students must have their work present in class on the day it is due.
It is the obligation of the student to see the teacher for any missed tests and assignments when returning from an absence.
Rules
1. Come to class on time and be prepared.
2. Take your seat quietly and copy down assignments in your agenda.
3. Respect teachers, classmates, and materials.
4. Show good manners
5. Have a positive attitude, look for the good in others, and SMILE.
6. Students must use the time between classes for drinks of water and restroom use.

4. Office referral
5. Extreme behavior will result in an immediate office referral.
The purpose of math reflections is for students to demonstrate the depth of their understanding of a topic.
Reflections will be completed and submitted on Google Classroom or on paper.
The following guidelines should be kept in mind when completing ALL math reflections:
Include a proper heading at the top of the page;
Always restate the question being asked;
Always provide definitions or background knowledge needed to be understood about the topic;
Always include a detailed example (including a diagram, labeled parts/steps, if applicable);
Remember to include accurate math vocabulary/representation (correct symbols used, labels, etc); and,
End your reflection with a concluding sentence.
There is no length requirement; however, you must be sure to completely and thoroughly answer the question.
The spelling of vocabulary words used in class should be correct.
Scoring:
6/10: Response shows little to no understanding of the topic or is incomplete.
7/10: Response shows a basic understanding of the topic, with many errors or gaps in detail
8/10: Response shows a good understanding of the topic, some errors or gaps in detail.
9/10: Response shows a strong understanding of the topic, with few errors or gaps in detail.
10/10: Response goes "above and beyond," showing a deep level of understanding of the topic without errors or gaps in detail.
