The purpose of math reflections is for students to demonstrate the depth of their understanding of a topic.
Reflections will be completed and submitted on Google Classroom.
The following guidelines should be kept in mind when completing ALL reflections:

Assignment Name
Always restate the question being asked.
Always provide definitions or background knowledge needed to be understood about the topic.
Always include a detailed example (including a diagram, labeled parts/steps, if applicable).
Remember to include accurate math vocabulary/representation (correct symbols used, labels, etc).
End your reflection with a concluding sentence.
There is no length requirement; however, you must be sure to completely and thoroughly answer the question.
Spelling of vocabulary words used in class should be correct.
Scoring:
6/10: Response shows little to no of understanding of the topic or is incomplete.
7/10: Response shows a basic understanding of the topic, with many errors or gaps in detail
8/10: Response shows a good understanding of the topic, some errors or gaps in detail.
9/10: Response shows a strong understanding of the topic, with few errors or gaps in detail.
10/10: Response goes "above and beyond," showing a deep level of understanding of the topic without errors or gaps in detail.
