2014 BQCA Officers

In an effort to personalize our forthcoming ratification of new officers of BQCA, we are providing brief biographies and photos of these individuals.  Please feel free to meet and greet them at the community meeting and throughout the community. 

Darlene Melcher (Treasurer)

Her family has owned property in Bowleys Quarters since the mid-1940's when her grandparents bought a waterfront summer cottage here until it was destroyed by Hurricane Isabel.  She and her husband, Bob, re-built the residence and formally moved here in 2005.  Darlene worked 25 years in information systems at the USF&G and St Paul insurance companies.  Now semi-retired, she works part-time for a financial planner when not out on the water, either power boating or sailing.
