Welcome to AP Chemistry!
Important Places for class work:
Google Classroom:
Note: GC stands for Google Classroom
Reminder about Absences:
Homework or reports due on the day the student was absent are due the day the student returns from the absence. It is the student’s responsibility to check with the teacher for what work was missed during the absence.
If a student is absent on the day of an exam, the student must make up the test within one week of returning to school or the test grade will be a zero.
If a student is absent on the day of a laboratory exercise, the student will need to make up the lab before school on the assigned day. This day will be chosen by the teacher and will be within one week following the missed lab.
If a student is absent on the day of a quiz, the quiz must be made up within 2 days following the student’s return to school or a zero will result.
The ABS code will be entered into Aspen until assignments are made up. This will average as a zero temporarily until you make it up. It will remain a zero if you do not make it up.
Reminder about ethics:
Using anyone else's work as your own constitutes cheating. Allowing someone else to use your work as their own is also cheating. Although there may be collaboration and discussion on some work, ultimately your final graded assignment must be in your own words and reflect your understanding of the material. You should not work on lab reports and homework with other students.
