"I'm not sure if I ordered my cap and gown"
Cap and gowns are ordered during the end of October through a survey in Google Classroom. You can check your assignments to see if you completed this. But also don't worry because when the Josten's Rep. comes to sell the cap and gowns he will bring extras in all sizes and we can easily get more delivered during marching practice if needed.
"My sibling graduated from BEHS and I fit in their gown. Can I just get a new tassel?"
Yes. Sizes are not different for men and women so if your height is the same it will fit correctly. Tassels cost $10 (you will want a new one since it has your graduation year.) Also you will need a sash that costs $15.
"How many graduation tickets do we get?"
The Cross Insurance Arena seats about 3000 in the half of the arena that we will use. With 245 students possibly attending graduation this leaves an average of 12 tickets each. Seniors and their parents are asked to consider just the amount of tickets they need. Some families will need more than 12, but if the families who need less take less, we should have the correct amount of tickets for each senior. Extra tickets will be given out about a week after the student pick up day.
"Are the graduation tickets assigned seats?"
No. The tickets are numbered since this is the way that the CIA counts their tickets but all tickets have the GA for General Admission.
"We need handicap seating at graduation. Do I need special tickets for this?"
There are no special handicap tickets. The CIA has many handicap areas and the staff there will help guests to their seats.
"Does a small child, who will be sitting on an adults lap, need a ticket?"
No, if a child is not going to take up a seat and they are under 3 they do not need a ticket.
"Will I get to see my parents after graduation if I am going to project grad?"
Yes, seniors will have time to visit with their guests before loading buses to project grad.
"What are the roses for the senior last assembly, and are they for everyone?"
The Senior Last Assembly roses are for family, friends, and supporters to give a special message to their graduating senior. The messages are given to the seniors along with a rose. Please share the order form with everyone - many people are excited and proud of your accomplishments!
