Fall Assembly Kick-Off
Freshman Exploration Year Advisory and Beyond: (capstone discovery)
To support your successful completion of this freshman year, you will be matched with a faculty member who will serve as your Advisor for the four years of your high school career. This advisor will meet with you during advisory and guide you with your learning experiences and your graduation capstone.
This freshman assembly marks a very important beginning to your High School career.
At the assembly you will:
Be greeted and introduced to the BEHS Administration and Staff
Hear from your student services team about future workshops
A copy of Capstone Information and a link to the Capstone website will be put into your Capstone Google Folder that you will share with your advisor
View a broad overview of the steps to completing a high school capstone project at the end of your high school experience.
See ‘examples’ of capstone projects that may be in your interest areas
Have time to ask questions
Review the Maine Guiding Principles - (Your home base teachers will have copies to guide you over the 4 years of capstone work)
Each trimester, in advisory, you will work towards helpful tasks.
