As most of the time in Puerto Galera will be spent in and around water, light packing is advised. One small suitcase /bag and a day pack are all that are required. Please check the weather forecast when packing!

Please remember to pack your passport (all if you have more than one nationality) and visa / residency card for Vietnam

• Underwear / socks (enough to include wet changes)

• Travel wear

• Sleep wear

• Enough swim wear for you to have something dry each day (a full swimsuit for girls, not bikinis). These will be able to dry overnight.

• T-shirts / tops

• Shorts

• One or two jumpers / something warm for post-diving

• Comfortable clothes for the evenings - it should be cooler in the evenings so leggings / long trousers / long sleeve tops are recommended

• A waterproof top / jacket

• One pair of shoes or trainers for travelling and a potential stroll / walk / jog to the lighthouse (5km round-trip)

• One pair of flip flops or sandals

• A hat

• Sunglasses that protect against UV rays

• Toiletries including suncream and bug repellant (essential)

• Plastic bags to store wet clothing

• Large water bottle to refill (essential)

• A pen (essential)

Optional extras

• Any medication needed, clearly labelled with the correct dosage

• Healthy Snacks

• A camera (a cheap point-and-press one is better due to the nature of the activities)

• Cards/games

• Some money for snacks*

• Money for extra dives: approx. $52 per dive including equipment*

*Remember, VND cannot be exchanged outside of the country so take USD

Electronic devices such as iPads and iPods are brought along at risk - they may get damaged!
