Starting on March first, students can begin counting their service hours for the following school year. Hours can be accumulated until the application due date, which is the last day in February. In order to apply, students will need to complete 15 hours. It does not matter if the student accumulates them in the summer or throughout the school year, although the Faculty Council will consider sustained volunteerism as a part of the selection process. Throughout the year as students volunteer, they are expected to fill out the Community Service Log in an on-going fashion. Thus, students should immediately print out a log here or pick one up in the school's front office. Students should be collecting signatures and calculating hours immediately upon the completion of service throughout the summer and school year. It is highly recommended that students record all hours, even above the 15 expected hours, if they want those hours considered by the faculty council
