  • Build amino acids using the modeling kits
    • identify amino acid structures and functional groups (amino group and carboxyl group)
    • create a dipeptides and polypeptides (form peptide bonds between amino acids)
    • build specific r-groups
    • model differences in structure and function based on r-groups

    • This is due Wed and is preparation for Wednesday's in-class Test-retake.
      • ALL students with a 69% or lower class assessment grade will take the test on Wed.
      • NOTE: THE ONLY OPTION for test retakes is Wed. during class. Do not skip class or be late on Wed. If you need an alternative arrangement you need to communicate that with me directly.
      • PASSING WED. TEST WILL CONVERT ALL FAILING ASSESSMENT GRADES TO 60% (PASSING).
      • STUDY HARD for this opportunity -- it's your Get-out-of-Jail-FREE card to insure you head into the second half of this semester on strong footing.
