The inaugural season for the Buffalo RoboHerd middle school robotics team has concluded. On
December 6 th , students competed in a First Lego League competition.
There were two teams that competed and were judged in 3 areas: autonomous robot tasks, core values,
and a presentation on recyclable materials. Team 2 was awarded with best robot design based on their
programming, and the team 1 finished in the top ten of their robot task score.
There was a lot of learning and growth in the team’s first year, and we were pleased with the outcomes
that were achieved by the team members.
