Hi Families.

Wow...what an adventure we are on! At this point, we are all working with "the new normal". Our class meetings at 9:30 each school day keep us connected and are an opportunity for questions about the schedule, reviewing concepts presented, and checking in . The students all seem to be adapting well, and the online learning platform is keeping us all connected and moving forward!

The majority of the tech issues have been addressed, and students are now able to access all links/assignments/google docs/google slides etc. and submit work they have done.

We have a class Seesaw account and this week students may chose to read their literary essay there. They have been working on their literary essays for two weeks. These will help with book recommendations! Epic is available as a resource to find online books, many students enjoy that site.

Thank you for all of the support. I am very proud of our class.

Fondly,

Mrs. Martin

Hi Parents,

Week two of virtual learning begins today! I hope you all enjoyed the video from Glenmont staff that Ms. Heffernan sent. It was great seeing many faces from school!

I want to remind you that the learn from home plan that the district sent out will be updated with new sites and resources your child can access from home.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) we can have some fun by communicating via google meet ! Mrs. Riegel did it with her class today and it was awesome! Think about one thing you want to share with all of us. I'm planning to do our google meet at 10:00 tomorrow. Please let your child know they will see a link and instructions in 'Martin 2019-2020 google classroom'. Be sure to be on google classroom tomorrow at 10:00!

Everyone will start with their "mike" off so that we won't be distracted by noise. When it is the student's time to talk, the student will turn their mike on..

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you for your support.

I am so proud of all of you. I see most of you are keeping up with the Reflex! Yay! A few of you have mastered multiplication and division, if you want to be switched back to addition and subtraction , please let me know.
