Interested in the math?!
Parents, caregivers, and instructional assistants are invited to attend a monthly class that will preview the math taught to our 6th graders. The first meeting will also highlight easy ways to support your math learner at home or in the after school program. Up to six IA’s from all three middle schools will receive a stipend for attending.

If childcare is an issue, let me know the number and ages of the children and we can try to work it out so there is supervision for them in the next room.

Monday 10/21: Group work model. The Math: Ratio and Proportion
Monday 11/18: Arithmetic Operations Including Division of Fractions
Monday 12/16: The Math: Rational Numbers
Monday 1/13: The Math: Expressions and Equations
Monday 2/10: The Math: Surface Area and Volume
Monday 3/16: The SBAC state exam
Monday 4/20: Statistics and Data
Monday 5/11: 7th Grade Preview and 6th Grade Review.
