Precalculus

The content of precalculus is very much like a college math course. Precalculus focuses primarily on analyzing the behavior of functions. You should already be familiar with linear, quadratic, exponential, and logarithmic functions from previous courses. Precalculus will take a more in-depth look at these functions along with polynomial, rational, and trigonometric functions. The goal for this class is to get you to think about functions, why they work the way they do, how they connect to each other, and how they connect to the world around us. Four words pop up frequently from one unit to the next: solve, graph, analyze, and apply.
