SPANISH 1

Welcome to Spanish 1 week 1:

Our main focus this week is to get to know each other better and learn how to work in a digital community.

For this week our Learning Targets will be focusing on:

-Developing Listening and Speaking skills

- and Understanding of the Hispanic Culture.

We will breakdown Chapter 1 in several weeks.

No worries, Chapter 1 has many things to cover and we will go one thing at a time. I will need you to come to class everyday, go over each lesson and study it everyday, and be ready to take notes in your notebook and participate in class. Practice, practice, practice.

For week 1 you will learn to:

• ask someone’s name and say yours

• ask how someone is and say how you are

• introduce people and say where they are from

I will provide you with the time during class to accomplish the assignments and outcomes for this week.

I would like you to get familiar with the use of Digital Learning. I have provided you some suggestions so you can practice and turn it in on our Canvas course in the next 5-10 days or before. See our Canvas course for details.
