Meet The Teacher

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Kirstie Jones and I am one of the special education preschool teachers here at The Burlington-Edison Child Development Center. I have been with the BECDC for 20+ years and besides teaching in the classroom I am also a Family Resource Coordinator for Birth to Three services for BESD. My BA is in elementary education from Western Washington University and I am certificated to teach pre-8 general ed, as well as pre-12 Special education. My endorsements are in early childhood education with an emphasis on special education. Prior to working for the school district I was a licensed in-home child care provider for many years.
