Spanish II

Course Description:

Language learning consists of all forms of communication - reading, writing, speaking and listening.  Class activities will include all forms of communication.  Students will also learn some cultural aspects practiced in Spanish speaking countries, such as holidays, art and music. 

Students will be asked to answer the question ¿Qué hiciste o hacía? (What did you do?) For their midterm assessment they will need to speak for 3 minutes on this topic and 5 minutes for their final. Students will be assessed based on their proficiency on communicating in Spanish based on the ACTFL proficiency scale.

Each student will progress at a different pace throughout our journey. As long as each student advances at least half a step per assessment.
