Mentors

The purpose of the Helping Hands Mentoring Program is to develop a positive bond between the adult and the child. Through this bond, the adult could encourage and reinforce the positive expectations that the family, the school, and the community hope to instill in the child.

Using methods of assistance in the areas that the child is experiencing academic difficulty in as well as conversation, the Mentor can build a relationship of trust.
