Robert Lamb - Foreign Service Officer and Ambassador

Mr. Robert Lamb was an ambassador to Cyprus. He was the Presidential Travel Security Advisor under presidents Nixon, Reagan, and George W. Bush. During his diplomatic career with our government, he also worked in the State Department where he was in charge of security for Embassies abroad. 1985 - Director of the Bureau of Diplomatic Security

1987 - Named by as the first Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Security (6/19/87-8/9/89)

1990 - Nominated by President George H. Bush as United States Ambassador to Cyprus (11/30/90-10/24/93)
