Dr. Patzkowsky, is a professor of geosciences at Penn State University. He discusses paleontology and the changing nature of this exciting field. His research focuses on paleobiology and earth history. At our talk (see video) he discusses some of the latest research in his lab (which includes the distribution of marine organisms over the last few million years along the Atlantic coast of the United States and what this can tell us about future changes), careers in paleobiology and geosciences, and his thoughts on studying science at the University.
