Throughout the year, students will learn about the geography, economy, and history of each state. They will also be expected to learn the location and capital of every state. Students learn each region for four to five weeks (alternating with our science units). As a capstone, students will take a final exam over all 50 states and capitals at the end of the year.
It's never too early to start studying the states and capitals! Here are a few activities that can help your child review.
