Spanish II is an extension of students' journeys through the world of Spanish. In this course, students continue building upon the Spanish skills they gained in Spanish I. Students leave this class with a strong base of Spanish vocabulary, a working knowledge of many Spanish grammar/language structures, and a better understanding of multiple Spanish-speaking cultures. Students also read novels written in Spanish, recognizing many of the vocabulary words and grammar structures they have learned throughout both years of Spanish instruction. At this second level of language learning, there will be a continued expectation that students will give their best efforts to use Spanish being learned inside and outside of the classroom.
