The mass email and sms function in SIMPLer is enhanced with the options to pre-schedule the sending of emails and SMS. This function can be used in a proactive manner to for example set maintenance schedules up front or pre-schedule a marketing campaign. The user has the abilty to set a date and time.
* note: if the schedule field is left blank (not specified) or a date is set in the past, the email or SMS is sent immediately.
** note: once the list of customers is generated to be emailed at a later date the list will be final. Any changes to the database in the period between list being generted and the date the email is sent out will not affect the list of customers. The only exeption is if the customer has opted ouf from receiving SMS.
To make use of this feature:
1. Proceed to customers menu and select either 'Send Mass SMS' or 'Send Mass email' from the dropdown list.
2. Compose the text and complete the schedule date and time. See fig 1 for email example and fig 2 for SMS example

This will allow to:
review created pre-scheduled message fig4
list customers by clicking on 'C' fig5
delete the message by clicking on 'D' - in case something was set up incorrect fig5
