These assignments are available for you to review 6th and 7th grade skills needed for 7th Accelerated Math which covers mainly 8th grade skills. There are 10 assignments with about 12-15 questions each. Each assignment has an answer bank, NOT A KEY. This is so you can see if your answers align with the options, but are still challenged to attempt each problem without knowing the answer. You will be able to check you answers with a key when school starts!
We encourage you to use the resource links to help you if you are stuck or need a refresher on how to do a certain problem. Please complete these assignments WITH FIDELITY, which means to take your time, show all your work, and ask for help if you need it.
Please make sure you have your assignments ready to turn in by the first day of school: August 19, 2025
Here are the supplies that you will need to complete your summer homework:
Composition Notebook: We recommend college ruled and at least 100 pages.
Folder: This can be a separate folder or a pocket in your notebook. You just need someplace to store the paper with your assignment work and answers.
Paper: This can be lined or graph paper, whichever you prefer. We DO NOT recommend using a notebook unless you plan to remove the summer homework assignments from the notebook to turn in.
Pencils with good erasers
You are also welcome to PRINT out the assignments and complete your work. All assignments will need to be turned in stapled or in a folder.
ALL of the assignments below need to be completed. Each assignment has an answer bank at the bottom of the document. Each section also has links to video or online resources you can use to help you review how to solve the problems. You are welcome to take notes, but not required.
