Our community is large and includes a diverse, multi generational membership.
Our topics are pertinent to Texas Hispanic/Chicano/Latino population, Professionals and Students alike, and Education, particularly Higher Education.
As a member, you will find pleasure in recommending and recognizing your colleagues and institutional representatives for "Distinguished Community College and University Faculty Service Awards", and on momentous occasions the "Meritorious Service Award". You have the opportunity to showcase your research, garner support for your program, cross collaborate with other resources across the state.

Your fiscal contribution to membership dues pays for voting rights in all business matters at the State Level during Caucus meetings and leadership nominations, Discount to all TACHE events, Access to TACHE Regional Events*, and most importantly as part of state executive initiatives allows Graduate students to continue their studies. from the funds collected.

At ACC TACHE we value and support our members through enhanced growth opportunities and a chance to practice leadership skills among a group of peers who are willing to both encourage and support future leaders. Our primary focus has always been Student Support and Chicano/Latino Faculty recruitment, however in the recent past we have focused on integrating programming and opportunities for our working professionals.

YES! Of course! We accept ALL Friends here at ACC TACHE!
Irregardless of HOW you identify, our group serves as the prime meeting point for ALL Employees (Staff/ Faculty/ Hourly/ Contractor/ Interns/ Administrators) and Students Interested in joining to have a "space" to come together, ask questions and have a resource group to call "NIDO" (a nest) at ACC.
ACC TACHE believes that together we are more united in our collective voice.
