Grading Rubrics

What is a Grading Rubric?

A rubric describes the expectations or criteria for the results of the learning process.

It is a checklist of criteria to measure your learning process and/or product.

Before you begin work, the teacher gives a list of what to include or do to earn full points for an assignment.

It is a good idea to check your work against the grading rubric to be sure to include the important elements that are set as the standard for performance.

All current grading rubrics can be found in Blackboard: acconline.austincc.edu
