The Brain Download is a document that will be administered in class for the first 10 minutes of the last class meeting before the test. Students will be allowed to do a resources-free brain download to test retention of items that are more related to memorization and organization of content. The Brain Download document will be collected in class and returned to students at the start of the test. While there will not be an opportunity to make corrections on the document after looking up the information, students will be allowed to take a quick photo or scan of their document in class for their own review between the brain download day and the test.Â
Some organization is provided on the document, but does not need to be adhered to. Students may use the page to write anything they want.
In short, the following apply:
Completed in class without resources (textbook, notes, etc.)
Students may scan/photograph after finishing for their own review
Will be returned without corrections for use on test
Does not count directly toward test or course grade
Students may write anything on the page
